Lily Lake is an easily accessible alpine lake. Lily Lake Trail is about a 3.0-mile out-and-back hike starting just east of the Ranger Station by the cabin. The marked trail is easy to follow and crosses a couple of ATV roads. Dogs are welcome on a leash.

Kamas Lake is located in a rocky depression at the foot of Scout Peak, a majestic and wonderful place!

Rockport Lake is located within Rockport State Park. On its shores there are some campsites. You can enjoy beautiful views of the reservoir by following the Lake View Trail.

Echo Lake originates from the Weber River and is a tourist attraction in Utah . The famous Union Pacific Rail Trail runs along its banks.

The Uinta Highline Trail starts here if you want to walk it from west to east and ends at US 191. There is parking, vault toilets, and a popular fishing lake across the highway. The long distance trail is 100 miles long and not for you if you have never been hiking or camping in the wilderness. It spans the Ashley National Forest and the Uinta Wilderness, largely following the ridgeline. The ideal season for the trail is from June to October at the most.
