Beautiful forest passage on the Sentier des Toblerones, a historical educational trail that follows a defense line from the Second World War.

Bucolic walk along a river with celadon water. Perfect for a family, with a little girl of 3.5 years old for whom it was the first walk. We are never far from civilization (railway, highway nearby), and yet we immediately escape into this natural setting.

Magnificent path in the middle of lots of Toblerones

The Toblerone Path owes its name to a line of concrete anti-tank defensive fortifications built during the mobilization in Switzerland between 1939 and 1945. These concrete "toblerones" run for dozens of kilometres from the foot of the Jura to Lake Geneva. Nice walk. Last part to Nyon is maybe interesting because of the sights, not so much for the walking.

The Toblerones Trail owes its name to the fortification line built during the Second World War as an anti-tank barrier to contain a possible aggressor coming to invade our country from the west. This fortified line of 15 km from the foot of the Jura to Lake Geneva is completed by a series of forts, some camouflaged villas (Villa Rose and Villa Verte).
