I always continue up past Elephant Rock. This time I’m glad I took the split off to BST instead. Low traffic and lots of wildlife.

The trail running around the perimeter of the pond has lovely views of the pond and grassland, and benefits from being traffic free. If you'd like to extend your cycle you can continue on the Bluff Trail.

Mueller Park offers a wonderful, easy-access multisport trail system, along with some beautiful views.

The Big Rock overlook area is a great spot to soak in some views before plunging back down to the car or continuing your push up towards the ridge. With a couple benches, the overlook is pointed out over Mueller Park.

This waterfall is located on a short spur trail off of the main Davis Creek Trail. This is a cool feature to add onto a longer run up to Bountiful Peak since there are so many paths intersecting around here that lead to the top of that mountain.

Jensen Nature Park features a short jogging trail around the park pond with restrooms and other amenities near the parking lot. You also have access to the Bluff Trail from the park so you can extend your run as long as you want.

While hiking along Davis Creek Trail in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, make sure to include a stop at this beautiful waterfall. It only takes a short detour from the main trail to reach this hidden gem, and especially on a hot day you will enjoy a little refreshment.

This hilltop is notorious for its beauty — and the bugs, so it's best when done on a breezy day to help keep the insects off. That, or don't stop running!
