Historic center of Catalonia, more beautiful than the official one.

I passed by bike

peak of Cogulló de Cal Torre, a mountain included in the list of the 100 Peaks of the FEEC and bordering the municipalities of Rajadell and Castellfollit del Foix. At its summit, the ridges of the Serra del Colomer (which we climbed), the Serra de Cal Torre (parallel to the first and also called the Palomes on some maps), and the ridge of La Serra converge , through which we will continue the path. From the top we have magnificent views of Montserrat, Sant Llorenç, Montseny and part of Central Catalonia. But on clear days we can also see the Pyrenees, such as Pedraforca, Gallina Pelada or Cadí. At the top we will find a wooden fire watch house as well as a geodesic vertex (reference 277112001). This peak is one of the disputed points for the centrality of Catalonia, for which, every September 11, a very crowded gathering is held there. Unfortunately, the summit is accessible to motor vehicles, motorbikes but also all-terrain vehicles, which damages the balance of the environment.

The Museu Molí Paperer de Capellades is a museum dedicated to the paper industry, located in the town of Capellades, in the Catalan region of l'Anoia. The museum occupies the old premises of a paper mill, called Molí de la Vila, which preserves the structure of the paper mills of the 18th century. Next to the building there is an artificial lake fed by a water source, known as the "bassa" and which is fed by the Carme - Capellades aquifer. The museum explains the history of papermaking, and preserves original tools for manual papermaking. In fact, in its underground premises paper is still made with these artisanal techniques.

Emblematic source of the Ca n'Aguilera stream valley. It is a corner place that exudes a humid microclimate that allows the growth and development of plant species typical of these places, such as hazel trees and mosses. Three giant specimens of banana stand out. In periods of copious rain, a good pool forms there and a beautiful waterfall of about three meters appears. Quite a few amphibians have been spotted there. Very close to this source, there is also the Teula source.

Source that is located near the stream that bears the same name and is also a good stop to take water and soak!
