Beautiful village at the foot of Montserrat

From this point on the royal road there are wonderful views of Montserrat that break the flat landscape of the cereal fields.

Emblematic source of the Ca n'Aguilera stream valley. It is a corner place that exudes a humid microclimate that allows the growth and development of plant species typical of these places, such as hazel trees and mosses. Three giant specimens of banana stand out. In periods of copious rain, a good pool forms there and a beautiful waterfall of about three meters appears. Quite a few amphibians have been spotted there. Very close to this source, there is also the Teula source.

Can Parellada is a town that is part of the Masquefa municipality, in the Anoia region. The impressive views of the Montserrat massif from the town stand out. Being in the middle of the GR 5, it is a good place to make a stop and enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of Montserrat from one of its bars.

Integrated in the Baix Llobregrat region, it is located 47 kilometers from the Catalan capital. The municipal area is crossed by the Northeast Highway A-2 between the pK 574 and 576, as well as by the local road B-112, which goes to Monistrol de Montserrat, and by the regional road C-55, which connects Manresa with Abrera.
