The sanctuary is located on the Nevegal Plateau, just a few kilometers from Belluno. It offers a wide panoramic view that extends from the Vette Feltrine to the walls of the Belluno Dolomites. The complex includes the church, a portico, the Lourdes Grotto, the Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament and Reconciliation, and a cavea with a grotto. The church is dedicated to the Immaculate Conception of Mary and Our Lady of Lourdes.

Going up towards Incino

What a lovely climb this is! Cars are prohibited, so it's a wonderfully peaceful cycle through beautiful surroundings.

A stop here is definitely worth it!

Great place to rest

The pass itself doesn't stand out for anything special. Its last 2 km on the northern slope are beautiful, as it passes through the village of Aune. This pass is worth visiting for two reasons: first, because legend has it that Mr. Campagnolo invented the gear shift on a bicycle to reach its summit; second, because of the tradition of ringing the bell at the church at the foot of the road before reaching the village of Aune.

Arsiè was my summer vacation spot from 0 to 14 years old……it’s been 48 years since the last time, but I have indelible memories that will never fade.
