A truly unique overnight accommodation combining a restaurant, holiday apartments, and a hotel. The hotel lobby also features an original Esslingen railway car—a 25-meter-long vintage railcar standing on its own track—stylishly furnished as a hotel reception, bar, and breakfast room.

A bit bumpy from the parking lot, but easily accessible - at least as far as the clearing with the impressive east wall.

It's now a rather interesting mix of a restaurant with countless extensions to the old station, the carriages in a slightly run-down setting, and then the new hotel building—not necessarily a bad thing, but it does give the whole place a rather interesting atmosphere. And the beer garden is a nice place to sit, even in uncertain weather.
