This beautiful church in the heart of Salisbury is often bypassed in favour of the magnificent cathedral. However, this is a magnificent building with impressive architecture that's well worth a visit.

You can take a nice cross country hike from the interesting historic Woodhenge ancient monument to the global icon that is Stonehenge. If you do this hike then you will save the parking and entry charges at Stonehenge (£30 ish). If you pay you get to go closer to Stonehenge (about 30m) but you get to within 70m on this walking route. You simply end up on the other side of the fence to the ticket purchasers. We first considered whether we should save the entrance fee and use the outer path. However, we were not so sure about the parking situation from the northern entrance, which is why we decided to pay the entrance fee and took the bus from the visitor center to the bus stop right in front of the stones.
