Rumney Hill Gardens is pleasantly located on Rumney Hill, right next to the River Rhymney. It's a quiet, peaceful park, initially established in the 50s for the community of Llanrumney.

Located here is a prehistoric landscape consisting of a 560 m long relict seawall, now replaced by a modern stone seawall, on the Wales Coast Path between Cardiff and Newport. There are some wonderful views on offer here across the Severn Estuary toward Somerset and Devon, as well as a trig point that is the lowest in Wales.

The Wales Coast Path is a magnificent 870-mile footpath that covers the length of Wales. It was the first coastal path in the world to cover the entirety of a country's coastline. Whilst this is only a small section of the path, it is a very beautiful one, and shows off some tremendous views across the Severn Estuary toward Somerset and Devon.
