Marina di Alberese is the most famous beach in the Maremma Park, easily reachable from the Visitor Center by bike on an eight-kilometer long cycle path. The beach, uncontaminated and surrounded by Mediterranean scrub, offers fine sand and crystalline sea. Along the coast, bleached trunks and branches form natural huts. One of two vantage points on the A1 hiking trail from the ruins of San Rabano to the Oliveto Colleglungo (large olive grove). This trail is quite battered (washing out) and unfortunately you don't see much as the vegetation doesn't allow a view. Only at two vantage points can you see what you are missing.

ATTENTION ❗️ Hiking trail, only for experts, suitable only for mountain bikes. The ascent up to the ancient monastery of San Rabano can be covered without particular problems, but the descent to the sea towards the beach of Collelungo has several loose pebbles and roots that emerge from the ground, furthermore the dense vegetation dominates the very narrow path making it difficult the view. It is necessary to proceed with caution, above all because people on foot can be found along the way. The landscapes, on the other hand, are wonderful and the Monastery of San Rabano is well preserved and can be visited for free.
