There are plenty of opportunities along the route for ice cream, cake, or coffee. Please be considerate of pedestrians on the bike path.

Near the campsite at the Wiedschleife in Roßbach, a suspension bridge crosses the Wied River. It rocks slightly as you walk across it. From the bridge, you have beautiful views of the tree-lined stream. On hot summer days, it's also worth taking off your shoes and treating your feet to a refreshing dip in the cool river water.
