Excellent views towards Granada and the Cubillas Reservoir

The cave is a little hidden, so it's easy to miss.

This recreational area has tables and barbecues. It slightly detracts from the power lines that are right above it.

Looking north you can see this imposing 766 m peak, belonging to the Sierra Elvira. It is possible to reach the summit from two trails (detouring a little): from SL-A 306 Camino de Sierra Elvira or PR-A 445 Cumbres de Sierra Elvira. If you dare to this adventure, prepare good shoes - but the views will pay you for the effort.

A district of Atarfe, also called Baños de Sierra Elvira for its famous thermal baths. It is located on the slopes of the mountain range of the same name and is a good starting point to visit this beautiful place, walking along several local and short trails.

Los Pinos de la Moleona recreational area connects several trails through the Sierra Elvira. Here we can rest before continuing with this route or returning to Caparacena or Atarfe. It has multiple benches and picnic tables, also with ample parking, if you want to get here by car and start your adventure from this point.

A district of the municipality of Atarfe, located on the slopes of the Sierra Elvira. Good starting point for hiking through this beautiful mountain range. In fact, a local trail SL-A 305 begins in the Plaza de Iglesia that takes us directly to Collado de los Pinos, where we can rest before returning along the same path or continuing with the route to the peaks.

An incredible viewpoint to enjoy wonderful views. It is a spectacular place, full of peace and recommended to spend a pleasant afternoon. Just below the viewpoint is a restaurant where the food is great.
