A walk around Läcko Castle, including the adjacent campsite and stretch of coast, is well worth it. Fascinating views, a diverse forest and great stretches of coast on Lake Vänern await you.

Make sure to check opening times in advance in May. Unfortunately, the castle was still closed at the beginning of May.

Very close to Läckö Castle is Spiken, an idyllic fishing port. Spiken is Northern Europe's largest inland fishing port and a popular day trip destination from Västergötland.
