The southern part of the gravel pit is a nature reserve and driving is not permitted there. However, motor sports are tolerated in the northern part with the large slope. In good weather, you can see the former airship hangar from the northern slope, which now houses Tropical Islands.

This shady and lovingly designed rest area is located at the intersection of Pätzer Straße and Wilhelminenhofer Weg. The front and back of a switch box next to it have been painted with a fox and a rabbit family. A hint that "fox and rabbit wish each other good night" here?

The bridge is no longer closed, the construction work has been completed and you can cross it again.
