The ski resort of La Molina has since this week an artificial beach next to the lake located in its facilities to promote mountain tourism in the summer, according to its managers. The president of Ferrocarriles de la Generalitat de Catalunya, Enric Ticó, has been in charge of launching this new aquatic activity. This new water area with sand also has different children's games and a sports area, and will remain open all August. La Roca Castellana is a mountain 1,381 meters high, crowned with a flag on a cluster of rocks. It is very close to the town of Alp and several GR trails pass through here.
