The Balcón Mirador del Faro de Torrox is an impressive viewpoint in Torrox Costa, located right next to the historic Torrox Lighthouse. From this elevated point, visitors can enjoy stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea and the surrounding coastal landscape. Built at the beginning of the 21st century, the modern platform is made of iron and glass, and its shape represents the bow of a ship. Below the Balcón Mirador lie archaeological remains, which are visible through the glass floor of the viewpoint. Also located nearby is the Centro de Interpretación, an information center that offers visitors insight into the history of the lighthouse and the surrounding region.

The Faro de Torrox is a historic lighthouse, it is located in Torrox Costa, right on the coast and is a landmark of the region. The lighthouse was put into operation in 1864 and is still used as a navigation aid for ships in the Mediterranean. It is 26 meters high and is about 39 meters above sea level. The architecture is simple but typical of Spanish lighthouses of the 19th century. Worth seeing! Cycling to the Faro de Torrox is a great idea, especially if you want to enjoy the coastal landscape. A real highlight, especially at sunset when the light of the lighthouse shines over the sea.

A large and wide boulevard to "see and be seen". There is always something going on there and there are many cafes, taverns and cocktail bars to linger in. There are also souvenir shops there. From time to time, farmers from the area also line up there and advertise their wares over megaphones and loudspeakers.

The Feast of the Three Kings On January 6th, Andalusians celebrate the arrival of the Three Kings. The festival is accompanied by many celebrations and parades, which can vary greatly from place to place. It is a very special day for children because in Spain the Three Wise Men are the recipients of the wish lists. The evening before, the children put their shoes in front of the door and leave provisions in them so that the Three Wise Men and their camels can fortify themselves on the tour from family to family. Then we go to bed early - and finally open the presents early in the morning on January 6th!
