The 50-metre footbridge passes over the Seine reservoir supply channel, allowing cyclists to continue along the lakes cycle route.

As you cycle along the perimeter of the lake, you will be greeted by expansive views of the lake waters bordered by dense forests. This area is part of the Forêt d'Orient Regional Natural Park, where you will find well-maintained trails that will take you through quiet forests and charming lakeside villages.

The magnificent Orient Lake

The Montaigu fountain and pond are perfect places to take a break. The place has a picnic table and playground. On the hill of Montaigu, located above the source, was once the castle of the Counts of Champagne. The stronghold was destroyed in the 15th century following the Treaty of Troyes. At the top of the mountain, you have a panoramic view of the plain.

The Ten Finger Stone is a large stone with grooves and hollows that was used for polishing tools in the Neolithic era. It is one of the largest and most elaborate polishers in the Aube department. The polisher is located at the crossroads of two paths, near the place called Le Luteau. It has been protected as a historic monument since 1993.
