5月 23, 2024, Fontaine des Trois Grâces, Place de la Comédie
It is the symbol of the city's prosperity in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. It is home to two unmissable landmarks: the Opéra Comédie, an Italian-style theater built in 1888, and the statue of the Three Graces, which dominates the fountain. The square is one of the largest pedestrian complexes in Europe.

After 3 hours of walking from Juvignac and through the sunny scrubland, the descent to Grabels is rewarded by this pretty and refreshing meeting point with the Mosson: the source of the Avy. You can also get there by starting from the Thermes spring in Juvignac and meandering with the Mosson for almost 5 km. Beautiful course;

If there are in fact two sources in Grabels, the source of the Avy located on the left bank of the Mosson is the main one and offers a pleasant stroll.

5月 6, 2023, Arc de Triomphe
The Arc de Triomphe in Montpellier is a gate built to the glory of King Louis XIV, on his orders. The chosen site was one of the highest points of the city, Mount Peyrou. The work is 15 meters high and its opening is 7 meters high. The arch dates from 1691 and was designed by the architect François II d'Orbay, a pupil of Mansart. It has similarities with the Porte Saint Martin in Paris: the builder was inspired by it, although in smaller dimensions. It was previously part of the city's fortifications. Today, we go through the door to enter the Place du Peyrou. The monument was built after the battles led by Louis XIV to expand the territory, which lasted 40 years. The Latin inscription engraved in the stone reminds us: ''Louis the Great, whose reign lasted seventy-two years, brought peace on land and sea after separating, containing and attaching himself to allied peoples in a forty year war. It is a good meeting point if you are leaving or arriving in the center of Montpellier. It adjoins the Peyrou gardens, a well-known place to walk in Montpellier.

Montpellier is the secret capital of France and is surrounded by the Place de la Comédie, which is surrounded by cafes and restaurants on the left and right. From here you can individually immerse yourself in beautiful pedestrian zones. At the entrance to the square there is a beautiful park on the right where the weekly market is held.
