マゲロンヌ門は、ヴィルヌーヴ・レ・マゲロンヌ半島の入り口にある黄土色の石造りのアーチです。19世紀の私有財産をめぐる歴史的な対立を象徴しています。

L'étang du Méjean（Étang de Pérolsとしても知られる）は、モンペリエの南わずか8キロ、ラットに位置する600ヘクタール以上の保護された自然地域です。 Conservatoire du littoralによって管理されているこの特別なラグーン空間は、保存された景観（沼地、葦原、サンソイール）のモザイクを提供しており、フラミンゴ、コウノトリ、牛、カマルグ馬を容易に観察できます。

There is always a strong westerly or northwesterly wind here. There is actually a cycling ban on this route, which probably has little absolute significance.
