Unfortunately, the Hartheim district has the worst bike paths in the region! The only place you can enjoy a bike ride is directly along the Rhine riverbank, as this area is under the jurisdiction of the Water and Economic Development Authority. Hartheim has no room for cyclists.

Large quarry pond located just behind the cycle path that runs along the Rhine. The water is very clean and it is possible to swim. It is also a great, fairly quiet bivouac spot.

With its clear, light-blue water and many stretches of beach, this is probably one of the most beautiful quarry ponds in the area. The bathing areas are mainly in the western part of the lake.
