It's absolutely dreamy here in the Rhine meadows 😍

There's a swimming area by the parking lot. We went into the clear, cold water there on November 15th, 2025. Wonderful! I can't say what it's like here in the summer; I'll have to try it out.

You can then cross the bridge to reach the Rhine dam.

A narrow path through an almost jungle-like area. At times, it's reminiscent of the Amazon. However, the path is wet in some places, so wear appropriate footwear.

Since the Rhine is closed to large boat traffic at this point, it's quiet and idyllic. Unfortunately, the path is quite monotonous, as it always leads straight ahead, making it more suitable for cyclists.

Since this part of the Rhine is closed to large shipping traffic, it is very quiet and idyllic here.

For pedestrians and cyclists only. Here, you can cross the country on foot or by bike from Germany to France, or vice versa. The weir is also visually stunning.

This is where the water level between the Old Rhine and the canal is regulated.
