There's a swimming area by the parking lot. We went into the clear, cold water there on November 15th, 2025. Wonderful! I can't say what it's like here in the summer; I'll have to try it out.

A narrow path through an almost jungle-like area. At times, it's reminiscent of the Amazon. However, the path is wet in some places, so wear appropriate footwear.

Since the Rhine is closed to large boat traffic at this point, it's quiet and idyllic. Unfortunately, the path is quite monotonous, as it always leads straight ahead, making it more suitable for cyclists.
