A viaduct typically consists of several arches, piers, or columns that allow for a smooth alignment and often connect two points at the same level to cross a valley, road, or riverbed. Unlike simple bridges, which span a single obstacle, viaducts are multi-span and can consist of a series of interconnected bridges.

A little information from the internet: The "Ochsenmoor" nature reserve is located between Lake Dümmer, the western Dümmer lowlands, and the towns of Lemförde, Dielingen, and Hunteburg.
