The cycle path along the Michelbach through Böheimkirchen leads through a beautiful, natural landscape. The Michelbach, a small river, meanders through the region and offers a quiet and relaxing route for cyclists on the cycle path. The route is ideal for a leisurely ride and is suitable for both beginners and sports enthusiasts. The cycle path leads past small forest areas and offers an idyllic backdrop. In Boheimkirchen itself there are a few sights such as the historic town center and the Boheimkirchen parish church that are worth a short stop. The cycle path is well developed and can easily be incorporated into a longer tour through the region.

A beautiful small monument in front of a lovely square in Böheimkirchen. A little further up from the church is Hochfeld, where there was once an Early Bronze Age settlement.

Built in 1732, St. Nepomuk was supposed to protect those who had to cross the then Michelbach ford or the pedestrian walkway. The chapel changed sides of the street in 1890 and was renovated in its present form in the 1950s.

We wanted to drive off the actual municipal boundary according to the map....I wouldn't do it again..it would be best to choose the nearest path near the municipal boundary, otherwise there was a lot of undergrowth, no path and a lot of pushing necessary. Therefore, there are often a few "wandering trips" on this route.
