The boats are replicas of historic wine barges. They have a flat bottom, suitable for shallow waters like the Loire. This flat bottom allows them to dock and unload close to the shore. Today, they are often used as excursion boats for river cruises.

Rochecorbon is a small town located between Tours and Vouvray, on the right bank of the Loire. In Touraine, the Loire town is famous for its lantern, a slender tower on the hillsides which bears witness to the feudal past. The numerous vines which constitute a green and natural barrier also contribute to its undeniable charm. Passing through in summer? Don’t hesitate to find the Guinguette on the banks of the Loire. It’s a real institution for the locals.

In the past, Notre-Dame-d'Oé was successively called Odacus (9th century). The church is located in the center, around which the village is built.
