An impressive experience. A giant elephant! You don't necessarily need a ticket to ride one. Just seeing it "walk" and hearing its trumpets is enough :)

Long gravel path, very smooth except for a short, slightly grassy section but relatively dry for most of the year. Really enjoyable on a mountain bike or gravel bike.

On of the two iconic harbour cranes of the city and the one easier to reach by a walk from the centre. Quite impressive to stand below this huge structure.

Everyone here seems to take similar photos of the canal with its many fishing huts and boats. This place is simply picturesque. Crossing the bridge with fully loaded bikes is not advisable. It is worth taking a small detour along the marked EV1 route over the next weir. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to eat in the small restaurant as we wanted to go to our accommodation in Bouin.
