Hello everyone, The bridge has been dismantled for two years, undergoing repairs in the navigation workshops. I hope to see it again one day.

Restaurant Georgette, nice restaurant halfway the walk. Very nice place to enjoy a drink on the terrace. The menu is quite simple, but the dishes are well prepared and plentiful. Ideal to take a break halfway the walk.

Cicé lock in Bruz. Possibility of crossing the Vilaine on foot or by bike.

Multiple ponds lined with woods

The towpath leaves the Vilaine for a little less than 2 km to follow the Cicé canal, a long straight line without much interest. I recommend going around, between the Champcors mill and the Cicé lock, to follow the Vilaine along a more varied towpath, which offers beautiful views of the meanders of the river.

The ponds are very beautiful, the perfect terrain for gravel

Nestled between the hustle and bustle of Rennes and the Vilaine on the other side, this pond offers a magnificent setting for your hike. There is also a beach to take a break if you need it.

This fine example of a mill in the region is now a restaurant, which allows you to discover the interior while admiring it from the outside.
