One of the three artistic surprises on this section of the hike: the observation throne is a project led by students from the Rennes School of Architecture. The throne and the telescope, further along the trail, offer a new perspective on the forest and encourage us to rediscover it up close.

Camped at the Camping Gayeulles - Rennes Britanny. A bit of on road prior to the superb forest paths and easy rides, but a fabulous day out had. Can recommend as a change from the city and thoroughly enjoyed it.

don't sit on the stones to have a drink or eat, there's a picnic table on the other side of the roundabout, 50 meters away from the stones :)
