Lac des Vernays located in Taninges is accessible by crossing the Chartreuse de Mélan park. You will then walk on a small road which will quickly become a forest path. The “Art and Nature” trail starts there. You will go up the Giffre at a more or less strong flow depending on the season. It takes about thirty minutes to reach the lake.
