Excellent bike route from Hambach to Saareguemines. Good asphalt surface. Barriers before the road crossings remind you to slow down and check.

The Saar Coal Canal begins here. It only ends again at Gondrexange on the Rhine-Marne Canal.

Good for cooling down on hot days 🥵. But it is not drinking water!

Great spot for a break. It's actually the jetty for canoeists. On the other side of the bike path there is a shelter with a barbecue area.
