Small, rather inconspicuous "tower".

This Romanesque style turret dates from the 12th century. It measures almost four meters high and was built from cut stone from the Ravel quarries located less than 15 kilometers away. Symbol of eternal light, the Lantern of the Dead is a mysterious construction.

Located on the banks of the Allier, Pont-du-Château has long been the river port of the Auvergne capital. This medieval town has narrow streets with atypical charm. Its Pierre Mondanel museum allows you to delve into the history of the city which was from the 16th to the 19th century an essential place for boating activity.

Monotrace path (after the football fields of Pont du Château and along the Allier) almost impassable by mountain bike due to very invasive vegetation, steep portions where you have to put your feet down, and currently blocked by trees!

Hi. Easy hike to fill a small afternoon or morning, no difficulty but still nice for people with a problem of resistance or fatigue.
