https://youtu.be/bq-e0bqLD9k La Casermetta is the high valley that lies between Courmayeur and the Col de la Seigne. Relatively easy to reach via tarmac and gravel. Wonderful view of Italy and the refuge is just a few meters further up

To get to this refuge by bicycle you will have no problem as the track is in good condition. From this point the trail becomes complicated and you will have to carry the bike.
