Restaurants in central squares often cater to tourists. Here in Dijon, some of the establishments on Place de la Libération are highly recommended, such as Le Pré au Clercs.

Formerly Place Royale, then Place d'Armes, Place de la Libération is a must-see in the city of Dijon. Located in its heart, just above the town hall stands the Philippe le Bon tower. Beautiful illuminations in the evening, and, in the summer, a few fountains and numerous terraces for dining or enjoying a drink.

Superb forest path, on a rather gentle slope with a few harder passages. Passable on gravel even with small sections (35mm) but be careful with roots and stones. Avoid in wet weather if you don't like mud.

A place where the Burgundy canal and the river meet. There is an information board on the cycle path indicating nearby villages (for example from here it is 2 km to Barbirey). Along the canal is a gravel path.

This castle has been a Historic Monument since 1988. It was rebuilt in the 17th century; now it is temporarily closed.

This former mansion labeled Remarkable Garden is worth a visit with a large 18th century terraced vegetable garden, an orchard, a wetland (stream and ponds), a meadow, a belvedere and a quarry buried in the undergrowth.

Always a pleasure to go down or up this path in the woods, in gravel.
