These are not algae but duckweed, also known as duckweed. The body of water is the Pelzegraben.

Lonely and deserted... You can't say that here. This wonderful mill is actually located right in the middle of a new development.

Although very sandy, it's still easily navigable. Those with narrower tires can negotiate the side of the trail.

Here you can observe the ostriches from the path. They don't seem particularly shy, but they are surprisingly large.

The bridge is more stable than it looks. Contrary to the name, the floor panels are not made of wood, but of metal. The only thing to note is the relatively high step at one end of the bridge – interesting for anyone with a heavily loaded bike.
