The Poudrière d'Olima (Olima Powder Warehouse) is a historical remnant from 20th-century conflicts, located in the Olima Forest near Chantraine and Épinal in the Vosges Mountains, France.

Please note: In our case, you could only enter the tower from the top, and exit from the bottom. The door is otherwise closed. Inside, however, there's only a staircase leading to the castle ruins. You can go out onto the tower's balconies if you wish.

On the route from Epinal to Nancy, you drive along the canal, which then crosses the Moselle at this bridge. The bridge structure can be seen below.

Here you drive/walk alongside the canal, which in turn crosses the Moselle. It's kind of crazy.

A bike shop with service and a cafe, and starting in May, they'll also be serving food. Very friendly owners, who greet you with a handshake and even speak excellent English. Super nice. Thank you very much. We'll definitely be back.
