The Landtag square "Unter den Eichen" (Under the Oaks) in Beedenbostel—also known as the "Die Geschürenen" (The Jurors) stop on the Magical Places Tour—marks a historic park area. According to publications, Landtags of the Lüneburg Knighthood took place here in the 17th century, specifically in 1637, 1642, and 1645. Between 1355 and 1652, the nearby Schootenwald forest near Hösseringen was the actual meeting place of the Lüneburg Estates. However, on a few occasions, assemblies were also held in Beedenbostel.
