A flat cliff edge offering a magnificent view of the mountains to the south and incidentally a place to picnic

Created in 1930 by Paul Dardé (1888-1963), it is composed of a group of four women and two children in front of a recumbent figure, symbolizing the pain after the loss of a father during the First World War which took place from 1914 to 1918.

This giant cave system is over 6.5 km and 200 m high. Very vulnerable to rainfall and very dangerous due to flooding on lower floors.

The village of Soumont is especially worth it for the panoramic views it offers in several places, some with the view of Lake Salagou, like a turquoise blue spot in the landscape.

Fozières and Le Thérondel are connected by a forest path. The walk is very pleasant, under the shade of the trees.

Fozières Castle is a historic building which combines medieval architecture (12th century) and Renaissance elements. Surrounded by lush gardens and vineyards, this castle is worth the detour!
