Perfect for admiring the view during a picnic

A beautiful autumn day...

Beautiful mountain lake surrounded by larches located at 1850 meters above sea level. The only mountain visible from the lake is the Pic de Rochebrune - if you are looking for a panoramic view, two belvederes near the lake, offer you superb views of the Guil valley and the Combe du Queyras.

Small path not marked by a sign, which joins the Tronchet pass from the bottom of Lake Soulier. Narrow but well marked path, without difficulty, really very pretty.

Excellent trip suitable for cold days as it remains lower in altitude and completely exposed to the south. This does not take away the merit of this beautiful area of Queyras where you can admire crazy views and for Flow lovers it presents a beautiful descent!! You will personally evaluate the climb as the track I propose has very hard ramps to tackle with a good leg💪🏻, alternatively the classic asphalt climb towards the isoard remains.

A nice little lake, which is accessible from Case Derserte. A great viewpoint awaits you up there.

In a Canadian-style setting, Lac de Roue is one of the few Queyras lakes to be surrounded by larches (endemic pines of the Briançon region). In addition to the inevitable romanticism of the place, two sites equipped for the bivouac await the itinerants of the GR 5 on the portion which joins Château-Queyras to Briançon. Easily accessible, Lac de Roue is also a popular place for families during weekends and school holidays.
