Barracks a few km from the French border, near the Gran Guglia pass and can be reached either from green lake or from Bout du Col with the Peyrot path. It can be used as a shelter in bad weather

The bell of the Gran Guglia can be reached with an easy mule track from Bout du Col or even from Lago Verde, and by pulling the rope the tolling of the bell echoes in the valley. From this vantage point, the Bout du Col lake is clearly visible below
