かつてのメインタール通りがここにあり、この区間はジルバーハウス通りでした。19世紀に建設されたこの道路は、成長の遅いカエデに縁取られています。下の部分は採石場のために舗装されました。 1936年にはオストマルク通りが建設され、そのルートは現在のB303を形成し、メインタール通りの大部分を新しいルートに置き換えました。

Kieswäsch Lake is the ideal destination for those seeking relaxation just outside Kulmbach. Surrounded by meadows, the lake offers something for everyone: a level circular path invites you to stroll and hike. Those looking for more exercise will find excellent fitness equipment on a modern course. Large sunbathing lawns and a sandy beach at the lake create a true holiday atmosphere. For refreshments, there's a cozy beer garden right by the water.

Wernstein Castle is located in the Kulmbach district (municipality of Mainleus) and is considered one of the best-preserved castles in Franconia. The current structure was built around 1365 and expanded into a castle after the Thirty Years' War. It has been continuously owned by the von Künßberg family for over 600 years. As it is a private residence, the castle itself is not open to the public. However, the grounds and courtyard are accessible and a popular spot for photographers. There is an event barn available for rent for weddings and celebrations. Information about this can often be found on the official Wernstein Castle website.

The Oberlangheim hiking car park is located on the pilgrimage route to Vierzehnheiligen and is used by many pilgrimage groups as a station. Since 2016, the artist studio Muth from Unterneuses has been creating sculptures of the Virgin Mary and the 14 Holy Helpers at this location. The diagonally divided block, from which two triangular stones are created, represents the search for meaning in one's own life and the shaping of life with its ups and downs.
