A beautiful climb on a small, quiet road, always around 5%, rarely more than 7% gradient. However, the road surface is quite rough (4 out of 10) with plenty of potholes, bumps, and root bumps. It's much better to climb than to take the descent with caution.

The sanctuary of Notre-Dame-des-Anges of the Massif des Maures is located at an altitude of 780m. The climb to the sanctuary is through a forest on a narrow, quiet road.

The Mauresgebirge lives up to its name. The pass road leads through dark "black" forests, narrow and little used. Chestnuts and oaks as far as the eye can see. The detour to the church "Notre Dame des Anges" is worthwhile, if only because of the view of the approaching Mediterranean Sea.
