Diélette is a small Norman port located a few kilometers from Flamanville. It's a striking contrast between the daunting concrete of the nuclear power plants and this little corner of the sea where you can sail with small sailboats.

Viewpoint

Forgotten old tank. Not much left.

Relic from the war. There is an old bunker here. Normally very ugly, but this one is beautifully painted.

Free parking, also suitable for camper vans. The access road is very bumpy though, so you should drive slowly.

A two-tiered stone base forms the foundation for this small sacred monument. The upper base element converges in a pyramid shape, above which rises the cross, also made of stone. From this exposed position, the crucified man looks out over the sea. Above his head is the plaque mentioned in the biblical accounts of the crucifixion with the inscription "INRI", which is (in Latin) the abbreviation for "Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews".
