In Argenschwang, a wonderfully romantic atmosphere awaits the bridal couple. In the reconstructed gatehouse of Rosenburg Castle, they can exchange vows in the tastefully furnished wedding room of the Rüdesheim municipal registry office. Rosenburg Castle in Argenschwang was built in the 12th century by the Counts of Sponheim. It was first documented in 1195. Of the hilltop castle, situated at 295 meters above sea level, only the gatehouse, dating from the 17th century, remains completely intact. Weddings for parties of up to 25 people are possible in the fireplace room of the restored gatehouse. The former synagogue in Argenschwang is a two-story, half-timbered, gabled house with rectangular windows and an upper floor that is over 300 years old.

The Protestant Church of Argenschwang is a hall building with an almost square floor plan, designed by Carl Wilhelm Hartmann. On the eastern side, there is a recessed rectangular choir with its own roof structure. Unfortunately, the church was closed today.

It's a shame that we still need signs for things that are taken for granted.
