To the north, it descends to Abländschen at the foot of the magnificent Gastlosen mountain range, while to the south, the Grischbach Valley awaits. While the pass is paved, there are various trails for mountain bikers to choose from in various directions.

The Pont de Zähringen is a historic bridge in Fribourg, Switzerland, which crosses the Saane Gorge and connects the Upper and Lower Town of Fribourg. The bridge is named after the noble Zähringen family who founded the city in the 12th century.

A worthy ascent for the stunning views of the Gantrisch and the Thun lake. There are restaurants up here for a good refuel, but it does get busy in high summer.

Magnificent journey through market gardening crops. Visit the town of Morat with its walkway on the ramparts, its towers and its castle, its main street with arcaded houses. Nice regular climb and descent to Bellerive, with a refreshing passage to Salavaux beach.

Beautiful harbor on the north-east shore of Lake Neuchâtel with sailing boats and a few yachts. You can also watch many wind sailors and surfers at their activities. A small cafe invites you to take a break. The harbor is definitely worth a photo stop.
