Sublime view of Quiberville GR 21

A magnificent spot with a sublime view of the cliffs.

A staircase carved into the chalk cliff for fishermen, covered with wood and equipped with a rail for climbing up the pebbles in 1890. It was destroyed in 1940 during the German invasion and rebuilt in cement in 1954. A dizzying and hair-raising descent, depending on the wind strength.

In Quiberville, the sale of fish and shellfish is done directly from the boats. Every day from March to the end of November (except high tides and depending on the weather), the fishermen's stalls offer the catch of the day brought by the dories brought up on the dike using tractors. Something to enjoy and a show for young and old!

Going down this pleasant little street, you will enjoy a breathtaking view of Quiberville and the cliffs of Pointe d'Ailly. Gorgeous !
