Make sure you check the tide times if you want to paddle in the sea otherwise it goes really far out for miles! Can be dangerous in some parts with the mud when the tides out so keep an eye out for signs of where not to go

Can be very wet and boggy on the section by the woods. Also sometimes the farmer has long horn cattel in the field you pass by.

In 1884 zero degrees longitude was established as the Greenwich Meridian and the world's prime meridian for measuring longitude. The Greenwich Meridian line runs through Cleethorpes as it travels round the globe from north to south, and a metal plate has been set into the coastal path to mark the exact location. Usefully it also marks the distance between the Meridian and various places around the world. Keep going directly North from here, you only have 2,517 miles to get to the North Pole.

Cleethorpes Country Park covers approx 160 acres. It was once open farmland and is now a nature reserve. The one mile path runs around the lake in the centre of the park, giving plenty of opportunity to spot wild birds including swans and egrets on your way round. There is a weekly 5k Park Run here, held every Saturday morning at 9am.

The Cycle path all the way along the beach will reward you with a lovely ice cream from the ice cream van awaiting you at the end

There is a pond somewhere to the right but I couldn't find any access.

Looks like it has recently been cleared, the grounds a bit loose in parts. No way my gravel tyres are going through here when it's wet. It is only a small section though and then goes onto a hard grass surface.

Cleethorpes beach and promenade. There’s lots to do especially for kids with arcades, crazy golf, donkey rides, kids rides. Plus fish and chips, ice cream and some cafes and restaurants.

beautiful woodlands with mtb downhill trails. waithe beck runs through and is great for a hike or dog walk. bit of a mosquito fest during summer so be prepared and respect the ability to access this woodland
