The Berghaus Palfries is located at an altitude of 1,700 meters on the Palfries plateau. A large parking area for hikers is located next to the restaurant, and the mountain station of the cable car is just a few steps away. An inconspicuous waterfall right on the road up to the Gafadura Hut... In summer, not much water comes down here... during the snowmelt, it is certainly better

We arrived around 9:00 in the morning and had one of the last spots.

Info with dogs 🐾 Anyone who can safely carry their dog on their shoulders can climb this route. It looks spectacular at first, but for experienced mountain dogs, it's not an insurmountable obstacle. We climbed with climbing harnesses and safety harnesses, and webbing slings in case we need to be secured in between.
