Unfortunately, the summit climb was difficult at the end of May due to the snow-covered Kaiseregg Pass. In spring, with persistent snow, it's only recommended for experienced and/or well-equipped hikers. Crampons and poles were a must for me!

Patraflon is a grassy summit in the Friborg Pre-Alps which dominates the Valsainte Valley. It offers a magnificent view of the Swiss Plateau and the Jura. Its wide and regular slopes make it an ideal destination for running, especially in spring and autumn. Anyone who climbed up from Schwarzsee has overcome the biggest hurdle here. From the Kaisereggpass you continue on a mountain hiking trail towards the summit of Kaiseregg at 2185m or into the valley via the Kaisereggalp, past the two Walopseen, towards Boltigen in the Bernese Oberland. In addition, an alpine hiking trail (white-blue-white) leads in a southwesterly direction over the ridge past Golmly 1913m to Alp Obere Euschels
