One of the mountain pass of the Ajoie district in the Jura Canton. Nice view of the valley, and from you can slide downhill to the Doubs river and pedal flat, straight to the Medieval city of Saint Ursanne. Or go 7km downhill to the beautiful city of Porrentruy and its castle.

Most people (at least the more mature ones among us) probably know Courgenay from the old Swiss "cult film", Gilberte de Gourgenay, which is set during the First World War and has had a lasting impact on the idea of "French-speaking Switzerland" for entire generations.
