Largest alpine solar system in Switzerland at 2500 meters above sea level. The pioneer project AlpinSolar will produce 3.3 million kilowatt hours of electricity per year - half of it in winter. This is how we use solar energy at any time of the year and despite the sea of fog. Full commissioning will take place in August 2022.

Small but very clean and newly renovated SAC hut. Food very good. Big downer: toilet house "outside", which in my opinion is no longer up-to-date.
