The Probstmühle (Provost's Mill) in Oberdorla is one of the seven mills that once stood, or still stand, on the Siebenmühlenbach stream. The name Probstmühle (Provost's Mill) or Herrenmühle (Herren's Mill) probably dates back to the 11th century, the year it was built. At that time, the mill belonged to the church foundation and was thus subordinate to the parish priest (Provost). Like most mills, the mill is a grain mill. A grassy path with beautiful views of the lake leads along the Sacrificial Moor. With a little luck, you can spot swans, great crested grebes, coots, and, along the shoreline, numerous dragonflies.

The shelter is a little bit off the bike path. If you don't look carefully or don't know where it is, you'll easily drive past it.
